Employment at MDI Taxi:
I am looking for some bright, articulate, and outgoing people to join me next summer in launching an exciting new business on Mount Desert Island.
I was born and grew up in Bar Harbor. I started up one of Bar Harbor's longest-running and most successful entertainment businesses. After travelling around the world on my sailboat, I recently returned to MDI and immediately noticed the lack of good transportation services.
MDI needs a quality transportation company that can provide all types of travel needs: taxi, shuttle and courier services; personalized, informative tours through Acadia and MDI; trips to Bangor, Portland and beyond; special events buses; and more.
My company will fill that need by offering reasonably priced, premier-quality transportation services, while providing each passenger with a safe, comfortable, carefree ride.
A number of my old friends and business associates, many of them long-time MDI residents, have already joined me in developing this idea. And now it's time to move to the next stage.
